How to Return Your Reel

Whether your reel needs a routine service or you’re experiencing a specific issue, simply complete our Reel Return Form. Print the form and include it with your securely packaged reel.

If you don’t have access to a printer, a handwritten letter explaining the issue and including your contact details will be accepted.

📦 Packing Tips:
Please pack your reel carefully to prevent damage in transit. We recommend using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Tracked 24. You are also welcome to drop off your reels in person.

Service Costs

We can only confirm exact costs after inspecting your reel, as some internal components may need replacing. However, here are our typical service charges:

  • Labour: From £17.99 per reel (plus parts & VAT)
  • Return Shipping (UK):
    • One reel – £6.00 (Tracked 24, no insurance)
    • Up to 6 reels – £10.00 (up to £120 value)
    • Insured (under 2kg) – £12.00 (up to £750)
    • Insured (under 10kg) – £18.00 (up to £1,000)
    • Insured (under 10kg) – £30.00 (up to £2,500)

📌 Important: If you do not request insured shipping in your return letter, we will return your reels using standard, non-insured shipping. For international returns, please contact us for a quote.

Estimates & Payment

If requested, we can inspect your reel and provide a quote by phone or email before starting any work. Otherwise, our engineer will carry out the service and/or repair as needed.

Once completed, we’ll email you a detailed invoice showing all parts used (we also return old parts with your reel).

Reel Return & Delivery

Reels are returned via Royal Mail or FedEx, and a signature will be required on delivery. Please ensure someone is available at your address to receive the parcel.
